Exploring equality and diversity in Scotland's past and present - a Global Citizenship approach
Using the innovative new resource, A'Adams Bairns, the workshop will focus on the key themes of slavery, identity, diversity, prejudice and discrimination - past, present and future. It will explore how the pack can facilitate learning across the curriculum and be used to support transition.

Failte Malawi: using place as a context for Global Citizenship
The CPD will use Malawi as a context for developing Global Citizenship across the primary curriculum. The session will explore how images can be used to challenge our perceptions of the world and reflect on ways we can measure change in pupils' attitudes and values. the accompanying resource includes sections on rights, homes, toys, food and farming and water.
These sessions are for all primary teachers.
Fair trade
This introductory session, focusing on issues of 'trade justice' and 'fair trade', will encourage critical reflection of these issues and suggest practical ways to explore them in the classroom.
Suitable for primary and secondary teachers.
